a photography experience that celebrates the magic of real life.

They're more than just photographs. You'll come out of your photography experience with a bunch of little time capsules that, for years to come, will transport you back to those moments in the frame. Whether it's your family history, the end of a chapter, or the beginning of a new one, your photos weave a story that is unique to you.

And that's why I call it an investment.

F A Q

Where will my photography session take place?

We can shoot wherever you want! Once you book, I'll send you a location guide that includes all of my favorite spots throughout the Kansas City metro, but this list isn't exclusive! I'm open to all of your ideas. This is your session! As long as they're public locations or private locations that you personally have access to (like your own home), we're good to go.

Do you have a studio?

Yes! I have access to a shared studio with amazing natural light, and your session can take place here at no additional cost. Please note that while your studio session will be private, this is a shared space, so specific dates cannot be guaranteed until your session is fully booked. For this reason, studio sessions must be fully booked at least 30 days in advance of your preferred session date — the earlier, the better.

What is included in my session fee?

Your session fee includes all pre-session planning, location and style guides, your session time, and our viewing & ordering session where you'll see all of your photos and check out real samples of heirloom artwork available for order. Digital photos and artwork are purchased separately at this time.

How much should I expect to invest?

On average, my clients invest a total of $1,200 including their session fee, heirloom artwork made by my partnered professional labs, and digital photos.

Will I get to keep the digital photos?

Yes! At our viewing & ordering session, I'll show you all of the photos from your photography session and introduce you to the heirloom artwork that I offer—fine art prints, wall art, albums, and more. Each artwork purchased is delivered with its digital file, and additional digital photos are available for individual purchase at this time. These digital photos are specifically prepared for sharing on social media and sending to friends and family!

What's your turnaround time?

Just a couple of weeks! When you book your photography session, we'll also pick a second date a couple of weeks out from your session for a special viewing & ordering session. For the best viewing experience, this will take place in your home but can also happen in a public space like a coffee shop or library as well as virtually.

Testimonials
A family swings their young daughter in the air candidly as she laughs while walking in front of the Roeland Park mural.

We had an amazing experience with Annie! She was able to fit us in extremely quickly, and the turnaround time was incredibly fast. I've wanted family photos forever, and I'm so glad I trusted Annie to take them. In a short 30-minute session, she captured both wonderful posed photos and candids that really captured our kids' personalities. All that, and her price is beyond reasonable! You will be thrilled with Annie's work!
